27 Aug Potato-harvest
It was time again, Marianne could harvest the first potatoes in the Anemone garden. The harvesting season starts again and due to the good weather this year a big harvest is expected. After the herbs could be plucked in the garden, now the vegetables come. Due to the good climate in Grindelwald and the good temperature, growing vegetables, fruits and herbs is easier in Grindelwald than in the city. Due to the thick skin the potatoes can be stored until at least Christmas. Of course, this goes perfectly with classic winter dishes such as raclette or fondue.
