The alpenglow. A Jungfrautheater in the middle of Grindelwald under a starry sky and overlooking the mountains. This year Grindelwald presents a new theatre. The alpenglow. The theatre is about tourism 200 – 300 years ago. Back then, people wanted to see, touch and climb glaciers. But not only that, it was the nature and the glow of the Alps that drove the people to come to Grindelwald. So was the title of the theatre. From 9 August to 7 September Grindelwald’s inhabitants will show you a wonderful theatre and if you are lucky you will also see the Alps glow in the evening in the beautiful sunset. The venue is an extra grandstand near the valley station of the Pfingsteggbahn. Tickets are available online at Starticket.
