Autumn-colouring in Grindelwald

Slowly the garden begins to discolour, the autumn colouring has arrived. The green maple leaves slowly turn yellow to red, shrink and fall off the branches. Everywhere it grinds while walking and with each gust of wind more and more leaves are loosened. In addition, it gets colder every day, the fresh air cools down slowly. Marianne already puts the first flowers in the cellar in the garden and cuts back the first plants. The last fruits and vegetables are harvested in the garden. Here’s a tip for a cool dessert made from home-picked blueberries.

Soon there will be the first snow in Grindelwald. Normally in November there is snow for the first time. But let’s enjoy the beautiful autumn in Grindelwald for the first time. Also The panorama is already changing. The days were already the first time there was snow in the upper heights. The Eiger, the Wetterhorn and the Mettenberg are slightly powdered at the peaks. Also the meadows in the upper areas get their autumn colouring and partly bloom for the last time.
