Eigerness The Shop

Eigerness The Shop is a nice shop with many products from Grindelwald. In the middle of the village of Grindelwald the shop is located in the large Eiger+ building. Directly at the entrance to the building on the left side is the entrance to the shop.

In the Eigerness The Shop there are many products. Above all, the products are handmade and from local producers. In other words, anyone from Grindelwald and the Jungfrau region who produces something himself can supply something. So most products have a history. Be it a wooden sledge that was made from local woods and the maker probably learned his trade before his previous generation. Or crystals from the surrounding mountains that were still broken out of the rock in the old way. You can convince yourself directly in the shop. Besides the “special” products you can also buy a standard Swiss meal in the shop. Cheese, milk and bread from Grindelwald and perhaps for a nice evening a fine Grindelwald fondue. Or perhaps you would like some beautiful flowers from Marianne Stoldt’s Anemone Floristik. Marianne is your hostess, provided you stay with us at Chalet Anemone.

The Eigerness The Shop is located right next to the train station. You don’t even have a 5-minute walk from Grindelwald railway station. From us in Chalet Anemone you have about 15 minutes on foot. The shop is directly at the main entrance on the left hand side. In the same building you will also find a Coop and the Berner Kantonalbank. There is a passage from the Coop to the directly connected car park.

We can highly recommend Eigerness The Shop for special things. Also for gifts for family and friends. If you need basic things like washing powder, it is clear that you should go to the Coop. But for quality and local products the shop is optimal.
