The Grindelwald Sports Centre, the meeting place for sport, wellness and more… Here you can plan your stay down to the last detail and, if necessary, relax even after a long day. The Centre is about 5 minutes’ walk from Grindelwald railway station and lies at 1’034 m above sea level.
Grindelwald indoor swimming pool
The Grindelwald indoor swimming pool is ideal for a visit after a long day’s hiking or as a place to relax in bad weather. A large swimming pool and a children’s pool with 18 square metres are at your disposal. You can also use a 1 m diving board and a 70 m slide called “Black Hole”. The slide is not necessarily the steepest and fastest, but it is still a lot of fun to ride down.
Grindelwald ice rink
The ice rink in the Grindelwald Sports Centre opens every year from about mid-July. The ice rink is open to everyone, whether beginner or professional. Everybody has the chance to play a match of ice hockey or just to do a round on the skates. You can bring your own skates or rent them on site.
Sauna Oasis Grindelwald
A large sauna oasis is directly connected to the Grindelwald indoor swimming pool. Perfect for relaxing after a long day. The Finnish sauna, the sanarium, the steam bath, the pedal fountain, the cold water pool and the various experience showers promise relaxation for body, mind and soul.
Grindelwald Tourist Office
The Grindelwald Tourism team in the Sports Centre is at your disposal for tips and various information. You can also find various brochures on the large shelf, which give you various valuable tips and show you beautiful places. You can also obtain ski passes, tickets for mountain railways, maps, books and much more at the counter.
With the guest card that you receive from us directly on your arrival, you can benefit from reduced admission prices at many of the lifts.
