Gasthaus Waldspitz. The Gasthaus which was renovated in 1997, is beautifully situated between the Bort and First Inns. The beautiful view from the large terrace is breathtaking and invites you to dream and think. A real insider tip, during an overnight stay you have the feeling you are sleeping where chamois, rabbit and eagles live.

From the Gasthaus Waldspitz you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Eiger, Wetterhorn and Mättenberg mountains. And of course many more! We can only recommend that you sit on the terrace with a cold “Plättli” and a glass of white wine and enjoy the peace and quiet and the view. If you are planning to experience something unforgettable during your stay at Chalet Anemone, I advise you to spend a night at the Waldspitz. I promise you, it will be a unique experience. Book!? Location
The Gasthaus Waldspitz is located about halfway along the First-Bort toboggan run. Speaking of First or Bort about 1.30 hours. In summer the Waldspitz can be reached by bus, in winter only on foot or by sledge. In summer you can even drive up to the Waldspitz directly in your own car with a special permit. Since the local bus also goes to the Waldspitz, we definitely recommend the bus. The Waldspitz is also a good starting and finishing point for hikes, whether in winter or summer. For example we can recommend the hiking trail from First via Waldspitz and Feld to Bussalp. The nature and views are simply beautiful.
Gastronomy
The restaurant offers various dishes, especially traditional Swiss dishes. The dishes are prepared freshly every day using local ingredients. Especially the traditional dishes like a “Plättli” can be recommended. The Plättli are filled with various sausages, meat and cheese from the region and simply taste delicious.
