Approach
On the way here you can enjoy the unique view from the new Männlichen Railway in Grindelwald. The new train starts in the newly opened Grindelwald Terminal at the former location of the old Männlichen Railway (Grindelwald-Grund). Within 18 minutes you can get from the valley station to the top station with a wonderful view of Grindelwald. But of course only if you sit in such a way that your back is in the direction of travel. The new terminal in Grindelwald is also very well connected by public transport. Take the bus from Grindelwald-Bahnhof, which goes directly to the underground car park of the terminal, or take the train from Interlaken, which has a new stop right next to the terminal. It is in any case recommended to use public transport to get to the terminal without stress.

Arrival at Männlichen
Arriving at Männlichen, one is already overwhelmed by the proximity of the various mountain peaks and the panorama. After a short, steep ascent to the Männlichen Krone lookout point, one is rewarded with a sensational view. With the view to the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In the background the Schilthorn, the various valleys and Lake Thun. The information boards on the Männlichen lookout point explain the names of the mountains and valleys. Depending on the weather, you can look down from the Männlichen lookout point onto a beautiful and impressive sea of fog. The lookout point is also equipped with benches, so you can take a sunbath or enjoy a cosy picnic in this fantastic mountain world.

Way back to Restaurant Männlichen
Back on Männlichen, you can make a detour to the restaurant Männlichen and treat yourself to a delicious meal. The delicious special coffees are also recommended. The restaurant also has a beautiful outdoor terrace, from which you can see the exposed Männlichen viewpoint with the crown. Back to the terminal, you can take the new gondola back down from the Männlichen cable car. Enjoy once again the sensational view from the new panorama gondola.
